“Bam Bam” Dj ViLLaNo Remix
Álvaro José Arroyo González (also known as Joe Arroyo or El Joe; 1 November 1955 – 26 July 2011) was a Colombian salsa and tropical music singer, composer and songwriter. Considered one of the greatest performers of Caribbean music in his country. Joe Arroyo was born in Cartagena. Born and raised in the neighborhood Nariño in Cartagena, Arroyo began his career at an early age, at the age of eight when he sang in brothels in Tesco, a red-light zone in his hometown. In the beginning he sang with groups like “Los Caporales del Magdalena”, “Manuel Villanueva y su Orquesta”, “La Protesta” and “Super Combo Los Diamantes”, in 1971 he recorded with “La Promiscua”.
This was a classic record I used to hear growing up so much,
and it was great seeing this remix unfold from start to finish,
I plan to make many more remixes like this very soon.

On 8/6/11 The United States Trance Movement
Hosted there 2nd anual USTM BBQ. Some suprise
guest’s and Dj’s showed up to show support for the
fast growing trance movement, with Dj ViLLaNo
opening up the festivities. This was my set,
cut a little short with a little extra detail. ViLLaNo
is best known for playing latin minimal house, but his
musical journey all began with the Big Trance and
Progressive Dj’s. This selection was chosen based
upon ViLLaNo’s taste of trance music. I hope you all enjoy it.
I made it downloadable so please spread it to friends
and music lovers far and wide.
